Our juniors have done well. Hannah Darling (Broomieknowe) was the best scratch qualifier with a score of -9 which was 6 shots clear of her nearest opponent. Today Hannah played the 16th placed competitor and won 9/8. A sound performance. Tomorrow she plays Jennifer Rankine (Haggs Castle) – definitely one to follow with live scoring on Scottish Golf.
Carys Irvine (Baberton)also qualified for the match play and although playing well after lots of studying she lost to to Kirsty Brodie 3/2.
In the Nett Championship Georgia Ledingham (Craigmillar Park) also qualified 1st but failed to overcome Romy Erskine (Kilmacolm) and lost 3/2.
