| The Girls Spring
Meeting was held at Liberton Golf Club on a day which started with rain, but cleared
up for most of the players' round. Nine temporary greens were in operation and
so the competition did not count for medal purposes. Jane Turner (Glencorse)
won the Fraser Trophy (Scratch) with a score of 73. The runner-up was Amanda Edwards
(Liberton) with a score of 77. The Macpherson Trophy (Handicap) was won
by Cara Easton (Dalmahoy with a net 65. Jane Turner was second with a net 66 and
Fiona Bennett (Kingsknowe) third with a net 67. The scores are detailed
