EAST OF SCOTLAND DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

held at Murrayfield on September 25th 2005

The East of Scotland Divisional Championship was held at Murrayfield today. The weather was sunny but breezy. Fiona Lockart, Elaine Moffat and Krystle Caithness all had scratch scores of 74. Fiona won the Championship on the better inward half, having come back in 3 under par. Elaine won 2nd scratch from Krystle on the last 6 holes. Fife won the team trophy thanks to the scores of Fiona, Elaine and Krystle. Midlothian were 2nd with scores of 75 (Kirsten Blackwood), 76 (Claire Hargan) and 77 (Sally Watson). The best handicap prize was won by Lyn Cackett (Broomieknowe) 85 (16) 69 and 2nd handicap prize went to Valerie Aitchison (Murrayfield) 78 (7) 71
