25 October - Midlothian Ladies' celebrate their Centenary in 2009. It may seem a long time away, but occasions such as this creep up on you fast... and we want to make sure that we celebrate in the best way possible. At the MCLGA AGM in October 2003, Gillian Kirkwood asked for volunteers to form a committee to discuss and plan for the Centenary. If you would like to be a member of this committee, please email Gill
Midlothian has a fascinating history, with a membership positively littered with British and Scottish Champions in the early years. The plan is to use the Midlothian website as a repository for the history, records, memories and reminiscences of the county and its members. There's a new link Centenary in the MCLGA Index (on the left), and information will be added over the next few years... who knows... there might be enough for a book!
