Many congratulations to Baberton member, Kate Johnston, who yesterday won the East Vets Autumn Meeting which was held at Murrayfield Golf Club. Kate shot a 2 under par net 71 to take the honours from Caroline Johnstone, playing over her home course, by 1 shot. Caroline, however, walked away with the best scratch score, a 4 over par 77. MCLGA members figured highly in the prize winners with Ann Hanna (Murrayfield) finishing in third net place, a further shot behind Caroline, Sandra Ashurst and Norma Richmond (both Murrayfield) a shot further back in joint 4th place and Pam Townsend (Murrayfield) in joint 5th.
