Commonwealth Spoons

Congratulations to Carol Fulton and Frances Sorlie who finished a creditable third equal in the SLGA Commonwealth Spoons Final which was being played today, in windy conditions, at Longniddry Golf Club. Unfortunately the pair lost out to one of the couples tied with them on a last 9 hole countback and then to the other couple on the last 6 holes, which pushed them down to 5th place.

I hope that everyone who qualified for the final enjoyed their game. Rumour has it that the greens were like grease lightning!
